-* The Last Room I Called "MINE"

I was out today buying things for my new "room". Being out with mom, well, was an exercise in and of itself!!! I easily got to my goal of 10k steps even without having to TRY.

Anyway, being out trying to choose things for my bedroom made me miss the last room that I can actually consider to be "MY ROOM". That was 2004-2006 era, already quite a while ago.

So, in that memory, here are some photos:



Yup. My favorite color is ORANGE. ;) The new room will feature a bed sheet of approximately this color as well. The teddy bear on it is my all-time favorite -- a bear called "หมีคุง" (bear-kun) -- Yes, I'm not that creative when it comes to the naming convention.

Between the bookshelf & the bed is an on-bed table... for my lazy lazy time. I used extra bed sheets to cover up my clothes shelves. See, I was a student and didn't want to pay much for my furniture. LOL.



The HUGE photo of fall leaves on the wall is actually a photo I had taken myself. I enlarged it (for free, at my school's computer room) with the help of The Rasterbator.

I actually still have a LOT of the items found in this photo. That scale is still here (AND still haunting me. LOL)



The monitor/TV screen is showing a baseball game -- not of my favorite team (Boston Red Sox) though. I do miss that log-shaped metal-magnetic note board. I wonder where I had placed it. IT SHOULD be around here SOMEWHERE... *sigh* Anyway, the books/binders off on the far side are just part of my nerdy student life... LOL

Lastly:



This is right by the door. T________T the winter jackets? Yah, those sucks. And more books & binders. I guess that really confirms my nerdiness. ;) And that stack of paper on the last shelf? Those are "to-be-recycled" papers . . .

yes... I often admit to people I'll probably have to spend about 100 of my next life times as a tree being chopped down to make papers for students...

Yup. So that was the very last room that I actually called my own. I'm now kinda iat grandpa's place, sharing the only extra bedroom w/ mommie... That'll change soon though, and I'll definitely take some photos!

I'll admit I didn't take enough photos back then (No, I had NOT always been a photoholic!) I had actually shifted my room's configuration a few times (I get bored VERY easily, so anything than can be moved HAD been moved multiple times over the 2 years...)

I didn't even take enough photo of the living room! I cannot believe I don't have that many photos of the IKEA SOFA-BED I PUT TOGETHER MYSELF! >.<

Anyway, it was kinda similar to this one. :) I miss it... not because it was comfy... but because it was MY LABOUR... (Well, it was actually quite comfy too, but that's a secondary quality in this case!!! lol)

I miss that room.

Actually, I just miss having a room of my own... >.<
